3.1 Attaching to a Cymbal Stand
- Ensure your existing cymbal stand is stable and securely positioned.
- Remove the top cymbal and any felts or wingnuts from the main cymbal stand post.
- Thread the base of the DW DWSM904 Cymbal Stacker onto the threaded post of your main cymbal stand. Tighten it securely by hand.
- Place the main cymbal back onto the stand, resting on the lower felt of the stacker.

3.2 Mounting a Cymbal
- Place a felt washer onto the top post of the DWSM904 stacker.
- Carefully place your desired secondary cymbal (e.g., a splash or small crash) onto the felt washer.
- Add another felt washer on top of the cymbal.
- Secure the cymbal by threading the included wingnut onto the top post and tightening it firmly, but not excessively, to allow the cymbal to resonate freely.
