The CL1005 lock is designed for easy installation and can serve as a quick retrofit for existing cam locks or for new installations on units without a lock. It fits doors up to 1/2 inch (12.7 mm) thick and features a 5/8 inch (15.8 mm) threaded barrel.

- Npaj Qhov Rooj: Use the provided template to mark and drill the necessary holes on the cabinet door. Ensure the door thickness does not exceed 1/2 inch (12.7 mm).

- Lub cev xauv ruaj ntseg: From the inside of the cabinet, place the mounting plate over the threaded barrel and secure it with the provided nut. Tighten firmly.
- Install Cam: Attach the appropriate cam to the back of the lock mechanism using the provided screw. Ensure the cam rotates freely and engages with the cabinet frame when locked.
- Nruab Roj Teeb: Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the lock. Insert the 2 x AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-). Close the cover securely.

The CL1005 lock operates using a user-programmable code. It is powered by 2 x AAA batteries, providing approximately 15,000 openings.

Changing the User Code:

Battery Failure Override:
In case of battery failure, the lock can be temporarily powered using a 9V battery. Locate the two contact points (LEDs) on the front of the lock. Apply the 9V battery across these points (positive to positive, negative to negative). While holding the 9V battery in place, enter the Master Code to open the lock. Replace the internal AAA batteries immediately after gaining access.
