To maintain the appearance of your watch, wipe the case and bracelet periodically with a soft, dry cloth. For stainless steel, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

5.3 Avoiding Magnetic Fields

Automatic watches can be affected by strong magnetic fields, which may cause them to run inaccurately or stop. Keep your watch away from strong magnets, such as those found in speakers, refrigerators, and certain electronic devices.

5.4 Periodic Inspection and Service

For optimal performance and longevity, it is recommended to have your watch inspected and serviced by an authorized Seiko service center every 3 to 5 years. This includes checking the movement, seals, and overall condition.

6. Kev daws teeb meem

  • Lub moos tau nres lawm:

As an automatic watch, it requires motion to operate. If it has stopped, gently shake it for about 30 seconds to restart the movement. Ensure you wear it regularly to maintain the power reserve.

  • Lub sijhawm tsis raug:

Inaccuracy can be caused by insufficient winding (not enough wrist movement), exposure to strong magnetic fields, or the need for servicing. Ensure the watch is adequately wound and kept away from magnets. If the issue persists, consult an authorized service center.

  • Day/Date not changing correctly:

Ensure you are not attempting to set the day/date between 9:00 PM and 4:00 AM, as this can interfere with the mechanism. If the day/date is stuck or not advancing, try resetting the time and day/date as per Section 3.2. If the problem continues, professional inspection is recommended.
