  1. Ensure the battery is removed from the drill for safety.
  2. Grip the rear collar of the chuck with one hand and rotate the front collar counter-clockwise to open the chuck jaws.

  • The speed of the drill is controlled by the amount of pressure applied to the trigger. Pressing lightly results in lower speed, while pressing fully results in maximum speed.

  • For drilling into masonry or concrete, select the hammer drill symbol (hammer drill mode).
